Film for you

This month was challenging, more than I thought. I have friends that told me I will love this class and I did. Shooting a film always is a challenge also edit it, but is the kind of challenge I like to do because is my passion, I love the stress of the steps of a production (Pre-production, production and post- production) because is so enjoyable and fun to me to be on set with people who love films as you do and who enjoy making a film like I do. My favorite place to be on earth is a set of a short-film or feature film.

I achieve all my goals in this month, specially filming my first short-film that I wrote, directed  and editing. We have some issues with the sound during the shooting so the quality of the sound was not the one I wish but is a lessons I have learned now. In future project I will use different types of microphone to get the best quality of sound I can get. Also, I learned you can make I film by your own but you always need a team and work as one too. Only in that way you will achieve a great project to be proud of it.

I learned a lot of things that I want like the different types of lens and how to use the lights and the different types of lighting, not only the theory also the practice that is the best way to apply it because I will remember it and I will apply in a project to make a good lighting to any film and be in the future a good cinematography or a good camera operator, a good gaffer, electrician or grip in a Feature Film, that is the long-term goal.

All you want will learn how a movie works, specially the hard work that make a film means (The fictional pain, the hours without sleep, the fake blood, the water seems sweat and the artificial tears). People think all about film are what you look on the silver screen at the end of the distribution, but nothing is more a lie. The first part of a film is and incredible, unreal, crazy and something that people want to runaway from you or more simple… and idea. Similar like this a place how people think is unnecessary and take a much time what I can use to learn a new ability, read a book o do something productive but here I am, talking to you about pure love, passion and dream which we want to come true and together we will make it real. I will show the 5 steps to make a film (pre-production, production, post-production, distribution and exhibition) with example of the material and some webpages where you can work and learn with more example. I will tell you from the idea to the people who will go to the movie theater to watch the film… let’s start!
